New Horizon Europe funding to support NEB‑aligned research and innovation

The EU launches a new New European Bauhaus (NEB) call to fund projects integrating sustainability, social inclusion, and innovation in the built environment, with €101.1 million.

The European Commission has launched a new call under the New European Bauhaus Facility, following the adoption of the Horizon Europe 2026–2027 work programme. With an indicative budget of €101.1 million, the initiative funds research and innovation projects aimed at linking the green transition with social inclusion and local democracy.

Open from 5 May 2026 with a deadline of 1 December 2026, the call promotes circular and regenerative approaches in the built environment, as well as the development of innovative financing models for neighbourhood transformation.
