The UBAKUS web tool, developed by Ralf Plag, helps architects and students calculate U-values and assess thermal, moisture, and life cycle performance for building materials. Users input material type and thickness to generate analyses including heat storage, thermal capacity, moisture protection, and energy-related impacts, with graphical results for clarity. 

The tool includes options for new and refurbished buildings, supports a wide range of traditional materials suitable for historic buildings, and is multilingual.
