Conservation vs efficiency: the IAQ challenge for cultural institutions
Can conservation, healthy indoor air quality, and energy efficiency coexist in cultural institutions? This webinar brings together cultural institutions (GLAMs), IAQ experts, and market experts to explore trade-offs, challenge assumptions, and discuss practical solutions for sustainable heritage.
Details of the conference
Is preserving our cultural heritage incompatible with creating healthy, energy-efficient indoor environments? Or is it time to rethink the way we frame this debate?
Bringing together three perspectives - cultural institutions, indoor air quality experts, and market stakeholders - SIMIACCI organises its first webinar, 'Conservation vs efficiency: the IAQ challenge for cultural institutions', that will explore the trade-offs, challenge existing assumptions, and discuss practical solutions to one of the key questions facing the cultural heritage sector.
The Horizon Europe project SIMIACCI aims to revolutionise indoor air quality management in Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums (GLAMs) by implementing innovative solutions that significantly reduce energy consumption while safeguarding cultural heritage.
