Organiser:

It is time to register for this special conference designed to inspire and introduce participants to the EU’s approach to sustainable buildings. The event will explore how Level(s), the EU’s sustainability framework for buildings, can be applied throughout a building’s life cycle to assess and monitor the environmental performance of various design and construction choices.

Attendees will gain insight into the Level(s) eLearning programme, which equips professionals to integrate the framework into their working environments. This will be demonstrated through Indicator 2.3, focusing on design for adaptability and renovation. New training materials supporting EU Taxonomy compliance will also be presented, including practical guidance using Indicator 2.1 to show how adaptability can be measured and reported. In addition, real-world case studies from the More LIFE 2 Level(s) project will showcase the framework’s application across diverse building typologies.

Participants will have the opportunity to seek practical advice from expert speakers, including Josefina Lindblom (European Commission), Evangelia Bektasiadou (Joint Research Centre), Almudena Rodero (Arup), Shane Donatello (Viegand Maagøe), and Barbara Miranda (German Sustainable Building Council). This conference is particularly relevant for professionals involved in the design, planning, financing, and delivery of building projects, as well as policymakers and public procurers responsible for the built environment.
