The New European Bauhaus Festival 2026 will take place in Brussels from 9–13 June, organised by the European Commission. Returning for its third edition, the Festival invites citizens, local authorities and innovators to reimagine our built environment through creativity, sustainability and inclusivity.

This year’s programme will explore the transformative power of democratic engagement in shaping more inclusive communities, with a particular focus on affordable housing as a cornerstone of participation. It will highlight how empowered citizens and local actors can actively contribute to sustainable urban futures.

Centred around four pillars – Forum, Fair, Fest and Satellite events – the Festival combines debate, exhibitions, cultural celebration and local initiatives. It is a unique space to connect ideas, share solutions and celebrate progress towards the vision of life, spaces and buildings in harmony.
