This workshop brings these elements together, showing how renovation decisions can be strengthened when technical insights and financial reasoning are treated as part of the same process. Aimed at professionals working across renovation and energy efficiency—from policymakers to building owners and energy communities—the session introduces the ReLIFE approach, which blends digital modelling, financing guidance and social innovation to support more confident planning.

A live demonstration of the ReLIFE platform will illustrate how renovation pathways can be explored in practice. Participants will see how buildings can be characterised, how energy use and upgrade measures can be simulated, and how different investment choices compare when tested against performance and cost criteria. By combining scenario analysis with accessible digital tools, the platform helps identify renovation strategies that are both ambitious and achievable.
