Electrification stands at the forefront of Europe’s efforts to strengthen industrial competitiveness, enhance energy security, and achieve climate neutrality. As momentum builds around clean energy generation, the Watt’s Next Conference offers a vital forum to address the challenges and opportunities in end-use electrification.

With the European Commission poised to unveil its Electrification Action Plan in early 2026, the conference will provide a timely platform for strategic dialogue. Michael Liebreich, founder of Bloomberg New Energy Finance, will offer expert commentary throughout the day and present the Electrification Ladder—a pioneering framework for replacing fossil fuels with electricity across sectors. Session 1, led by the European Heat Pump Association and moderated by Philippa Nuttall, will feature insights from Jozefien Vanbecelaere, Paula Rey Garcia, Rossen Ivanov, and Chiara Di Mambro on tailored solutions for industrial electrification.

A special highlight will include the live recording of the Watt Matters podcast, hosted by journalist Kyra Taylor in conversation with Adrian Hiel and Joss Dings. Attendees are invited to engage with distinguished speakers and contribute to shaping a resilient, clean energy future for Europe

Further programme details will be announced shortly.
