The New European Bauhaus continues to expand its support for projects that are transforming European neighbourhoods through solutions that combine sustainability, inclusion and architectural quality.

In its most recent programme, the NEB Facility strengthens its commitment to innovation applied to the built environment, with a particular focus on initiatives that enhance thermal comfort in buildings and promote more resilient urban models.

According to the update linked to the Horizon Europe 2026–2027 programme, the initiative will allocate more than €210 million to drive projects addressing urban challenges such as the efficient reuse of spaces, responses to homelessness and the development of thermal solutions that improve liveability while reducing energy impact.

The call dedicated to 'Sustainable, inclusive, affordable and attractive solutions for thermal comfort in buildings' will open on 5 May 2026 and remain open until 1 December 2026, with a total budget of €12 million to fund up to three projects.
