The EU-funded ACCORD project developed a set of 20 e-learning materials delivered in a video presentation and an Educational Start Pack on BIM Building Permit, translated into several languages.
During the past three years, the EU-funded ACCORD project has explored the new frontiers of the implementation of BIM in building permit processes, developing a framework that includes semantic interoperability, a rule formalisation tool, and integrated microservices for digital building permit and compliance checking processes that were demonstrated in 13 use cases in five real-life construction projects around Europe: Finland, Estonia, Germany, the UK, and Spain.
With the project coming to its end in September 2025, the consortium wants to share the ACCORD e-learning hub. This virtual learning space provides free online content focused on digital building permits, developed in collaboration with ACCORD partners. The training materials consist of short, engaging videos (5-20 minutes), along with presentations and other supporting materials, that offer a comprehensive overview of ACCORD’s key results.
