Courses on facade design and engineering: registrations are open
Courses on facade design and engineering: registrations are open
Three courses open for registration are available for architectural and structural engineers, building technology students, architects, designers, and more.
A team of international experts from TU Delft, TU Darmstadt and Eurac Research have collaborated to create a series of courses on façade design and engineering. The courses are targeted at aspiring architectural and structural engineers who seek more information about and practice with facade detailing.
Three courses are starting this autumn:
- DelftX: Detailing Ventilated Façades: a Practical Approach - Master the standard details of a ventilated façade with integrated windows and learn to apply them in façade engineering design. Start: 2 October 2025.
- DelftX: Circularity Principles for Façade Engineering - Discover how to integrate circularity into façade design. Gain insights into various circularity concepts and their practical applications in the façade design process, along with methods for assessing their effectiveness. Start: 22 October 2025
- DelftX: Performance-based façade design - Assess façade performance in terms of structural, energy, thermal, acoustic, comfort and daylight criteria for buildings that are both user-centered and energy efficient. Start: 29 October 2025
The courses last for 6 weeks (3-4 hours per week), are instructor-paced and provide a certificate at the end.
Please, follow the link for each courses to know all the details, including prerequisites, curriculum, instructors.
