Swiss IoT platform provider Akenza has announced its expansion into the United Kingdom through a strategic partnership with Bunch Tech, a UK-based technology firm. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of smart building technologies across the country, focusing on energy efficiency, air quality, and workplace wellbeing.

The partnership will see the deployment of over 20,000 IoT devices across 300 locations, enabling real-time monitoring and data-driven building management. Applications include occupancy tracking, smart cleaning, and sustainability analytics, all powered by Akenza’s low-code, self-service platform designed for rapid implementation.

Executives from both companies highlighted the growing demand for intelligent infrastructure amid rising energy costs and evolving workplace needs. By combining Akenza’s scalable technology with Bunch Tech’s local expertise, the initiative is set to support businesses in creating healthier, more efficient, and future-ready environments.
