The district heating association (AMORCE) in France has highlighted the success and promising results of the French district heating network and its growth strategy. Although the sector only covers 5% of the heating demand, it is mainly decarbonised with 60% coming from renewable energy and waste heat.
AMORCE aims to triple the number of connected buildings to a selection of 300 district heating systems.
