ENERGATE: Joint activities with other projects and initiatives
ENERGATE D6.5 shows how collaboration between European projects, standardisation and innovation clusters strengthens the use of data and digital platforms to accelerate investment in energy efficiency in buildings.
The ENERGATE D6.5 report provides a detailed overview of how the project has worked together with other European projects and initiatives to strengthen the impact of its platform and position it within the EU innovation ecosystem. The document shows that cooperation has not been an ancillary element, but a core part of the project’s strategy, aimed at improving data quality, digital interoperability, and the preparation of renovation projects that are both energy-efficient and financially viable.
Through technical collaborations with initiatives such as MATRYCS, DEEP, MODERATE, DigiBUILD, and ENERSHARE, ENERGATE has integrated services for analysis, modelling, risk assessment, performance monitoring, and the estimation of energy and non-energy benefits. These synergies have made it possible to build on previous results, avoid duplication, and move towards more coherent and comparable approaches to preparing energy efficiency investments. The report also highlights work on standardisation, in particular the support of HSBooster and efforts to align the platform with frameworks such as the EPBD, the SRI, and the EU Taxonomy.
In addition, the document highlights the role of the Smart Energy Cluster as a space for exchange, dissemination, and community building among European projects. Through joint events, workshops, and communication actions, ENERGATE has helped to build an active network of public and private actors, strengthening the uptake of digital and collaborative solutions to accelerate the energy transition of Europe’s building stock.
