Watoo makes it easy to assess any building's solar potential in France. Users simply enter an address, and the platform automatically reconstructs the property and its surroundings in 3D using French national open data. It then identifies the most suitable roof areas for solar panels by considering factors such as orientation, roof slope, and potential shading from nearby buildings and vegetation. Using PVGIS data, the tool estimates annual electricity generation and translates it into expected self-consumption, financial savings and payback time based on current French electricity tariffs. 

Available free of charge and without registration, Watoo offers homeowners a quick way to explore solar opportunities, while its underlying technology also powers Kaelo, a platform for solar professionals that supports system design, quotation and project management.
