The Serbian Ministry of Mining and Energy has launched a new public call for funding aimed at supporting projects to improve energy efficiency in public buildings. The initiative, targeted at local governments, is backed by a total allocation of 571.3 million dinars.

This programme forms part of the Serbian government’s ongoing efforts to reduce energy consumption and modernise public infrastructure, in line with both national and international sustainability commitments. Local authorities are invited to submit proposals that may include measures such as enhanced thermal insulation, modernisation of heating and cooling systems, and the installation of energy-efficient technologies.

The funding call represents a strategic opportunity to advance the country’s energy transition while delivering economic and environmental benefits at the local level.
