A multilingual digital resource provides information on natural insulation, integrated building solutions and collective renovation approaches for homeowners in several European countries.
The Renovate with Nature Knowledge Hub has been launched to help homeowners in France, Italy, Ireland and Germany identify natural insulation materials, compare products available in their national markets and access information on home renovation options. The platform is available in four languages and can be accessed free of charge.
Developed by ShiftUp and hosted by the Energiesprong Global Alliance, the hub was created within the EU-funded Arec Reno project. It brings together information on bio-based solutions and provides a catalogue containing 40 products linked directly to suppliers.
The resource is organised around building elements such as roofs, façades, floors and windows. Users can access material profiles, explore integrated building systems and view information tailored to their country. The platform also includes guidance on community-led renovation initiatives, outlining how groups of residents can work together to implement renovation measures.
