The webinar 'Woningpas in action', held on 13 November 2025, examined how Digital Building Logbooks (DBL) can drive collaboration in community decarbonisation projects. The case study focused on Woningpas, the Flemish platform that provides homeowners with tailored guidance and connects them to neighbourhood initiatives, such as collective heat pump purchases. Experts from VEKA, ACA and Campina Energy explained the technical integration of the DBL, the role of energy cooperatives and links to other European projects such as FOSSTER, emphasising the need to create a One-Stop Shop that brings together local authorities and citizens.

The discussion explored how Woningpas supports renovation monitoring and offers information on financial incentives. According to surveys, 70% of participants consider it essential for the platform to include a clear overview of incentives and to be used for contacting homeowners, although only 30% are ready to automate this process. It was also noted that fully digitalising the renovation journey is not feasible, but key stages such as planning, advice and quality control can be streamlined. The event concluded with proposals for future research and an in-person meeting in 2026.
