The ManagEnergy Workshop on Energy Communities, which will be held on 25 February 2026 in Wels as part of the World Sustainable Energy Days, will explore how citizen‑driven initiatives can accelerate Europe’s clean‑energy transition. With funding support available until 22 December 2025, the workshop is designed to equip energy agencies with the knowledge and tools needed to unlock the full potential of Energy Communities.

Participants will discover practical strategies and real‑world examples from across Europe, focusing on policy frameworks, financing models, citizen engagement, One‑Stop-Shops, and cooperation with distribution system operators. The event offers a valuable opportunity to strengthen local capacities and empower communities to take an active role in shaping a fair and resilient energy system.
