Details of the conference
This webinar brings together leading experts to examine how energy poverty is being addressed across Europe, combining EU‑level perspectives with national experience. Speakers will explore the latest data from the ODYSSEE and MURE databases, outline the evolving EU policy framework, and present the support offered by the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) to local authorities through data tools, capacity‑building activities, and policy guidance.
The session will also highlight Portugal’s long‑term strategy to tackle energy poverty, including its action plan, monitoring mechanisms, and the work of the National Energy Poverty Observatory. In addition, participants will learn about the LIFE project SaveEnergy Together and its pilot in Braga, which demonstrates how simple energy‑efficiency interventions can improve living conditions for vulnerable households.
