The Responsible Retrofit Guidance Wheel, developed by the Sustainable Traditional Buildings Alliance (STBA) and adapted in French by CREBA, helps users evaluate retrofit solutions by assessing technical, heritage, and energy risks. Structured as an interactive wheel, the tool guides users through interventions to the building fabric, services, and occupant behavior, generates risk levels and potential benefits for each solution, and allows for downloadable reports. 

Open-access and based on real case data, it supports informed decision-making and comparison of retrofit options, but is mainly tailored to UK and French building stocks and has not been academically validated.
