Sustainable Places 2026 will be held from 2 to 4 December in Luxembourg, hosted by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and R2M Solution. As the first winter edition, the conference continues its mission of supporting EU research collaboration across buildings, districts, and urban systems. Participants are invited to organise workshops, synchronise project final events, or co‑design thematic tracks, making the event a key platform for clustering Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects.

The 2026 edition will take place at the European Convention Center Luxembourg and will showcase cutting‑edge research, innovative technologies, and policy‑relevant insights for sustainable urban development. With a strong focus on energy efficiency, transport, and integrated infrastructures, Sustainable Places brings together industry, academia, policymakers, and practitioners to accelerate the transition towards climate‑neutral, resilient built environments.
