The programme “Positive Energy Districts and Neighbourhoods for Sustainable Urban Development” supports the implementation and replication of 100 Positive Energy Neighbourhoods by 2025. The programme will contribute to the goals of energy transition and reducing the carbon footprint, while also supporting sustainable construction.

Energiesprong UK is leading towards the retrofitting of non-traditional houses in the UK, and specifically to deploy heat pumps. The 1 million non-traditional homes in the UK are characterised by poor energy performance which already represents a big challenges to reach the energy efficiency targets and integrate heat pumps.

A new EU-funded project BEEYONDERS has just started. The project will run for a period of 42 months and aims to develop and integrate pioneering worker-friendly technologies into real construction scenarios in the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Finland.
