On 18 September 2026 , IEA EBC Annex 87, the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) and venticool, with the support of INIVE, will organise a webinar on Personalised Environmental Control Systems (PECS), a technology that adapts indoor environmental conditions to the needs of each individual in order to improve comfort and energy efficiency. 

The webinar will provide an update on the current state of research and examine the potential of these solutions to enhance indoor environmental quality. International experts will present the latest developments and discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating PECS into both new and existing buildings to create healthier and more sustainable indoor environments.
