Join Tuath Housing during World Green Building Week 2026 at Whitehaven, a completed Passivhaus development, to explore the opportunities and challenges of delivering high-performance, energy-efficient homes at scale. Going beyond design and certification, this session will examine how the development is performing in operation, drawing on post-occupancy evaluation findings and resident feedback to provide a deeper understanding of building performance, comfort and wellbeing.

Bringing together perspectives from across the project team, the event will explore the delivery of Whitehaven, the application of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), Passivhaus design principles and Passivhaus Planning Package modelling. Speakers will share practical lessons from development, construction and operation, highlighting how real-world performance data and lived experience can help inform future sustainable housing projects. Combining technical insights with operational learning, the session offers a valuable opportunity to understand what it takes to deliver low-carbon, high-quality homes at scale.
