Buildings are responsible for a significant share of global CO2 emissions throughout their life cycle. Reducing this impact is a priority. Buildings are called upon to meet this challenge by minimising energy consumption and ensuring healthy and comfortable indoor environments that meet people's needs, with solutions that are reliable and sustainable from an economic and social point of view.

The building envelope, understood as the interface between the indoor and outdoor environments, plays a strategic role and is evolving towards increasingly multifunctional and adaptive solutions. This transformation is facilitated by the introduction of innovative products and technologies, developed and validated through rigorous performance testing and demonstrations in real operating conditions. The expertise and capabilities of specialised laboratories are essential in bringing these new building envelope solutions to market, providing solid experimental evidence of performance and thus ensuring that the products and systems offered are reliable and effective.

The workshop is taking place at Klimahouse 2026 in Bolzano. Registration is required to participate in the workshop.
