Eight EU Member States have met the deadline of 31 December 2025 and submitted their draft National Building Renovation Plans (NBRPs), marking the first concrete step in implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) framework for the decarbonisation of Europe’s building stock.
BUILD UP brought together representatives from the European Commission, the Flemish region in Belgium and other key stakeholders to discuss the implementation challenges and solutions of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) across Member States.
BUILD UP’s second-half 2025 Topics of the Month (TOM) include Key topics such as solar technologies, local financial tools, energy performance standards, customer support through one-stop-shops or energy poverty. Do you want to contribute and spread your expertise?
