The revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive places data at the heart of Europe’s renovation agenda, making its collection, management, and re‑use essential for effective implementation. This EPBD.wise webinar examines how legal frameworks, governance structures, and practical tools can support these requirements, drawing on findings from the latest report on EPBD implementation. Through real examples from EU case studies, the session will explore how Member States are addressing issues such as data access, interoperability, privacy, and the legal basis for sharing information across public authorities and market actors.

Participants will hear from experts at Milieu, ADENE, and SERA Global, who will discuss good practices for data‑driven Renovation Passports, the development of national databases, and the conditions needed to ensure that data supports—not hinders—the delivery of EPBD objectives. A dedicated Q&A will allow stakeholders to delve into the practical and legal challenges they face in their own contexts.

The event is designed for policymakers, public authorities, energy agencies, legal specialists, financial institutions, and building‑sector professionals working to translate EPBD requirements into actionable, reliable, and future‑proof systems.
