ICLEI is developing the webinar series "Circular Buildings and Construction", that showcases how the Circular City Actions Framework can be applied to different sectors at the local level through concrete cases from cities of different world regions. The last webinar of the series was "Circular Buildings and Construction". 

On 4th October and organised by COGITO project, BUILD UP hosted the webinar "Practical Tools for the Construction Sector in Digital Twin", recommended for everybody interested in Digital Twin and current practical solutions in that area. During this session, we were able to know about the learning and progress that this project has made and to know the opinions of the audience about this topic through different polls.

On 21st September and as part of EUSEW 2022 Extended Programme, BUILD UP hosted the Webinar "Leveraging digitalisation and construction skills towards 2030 energy goals" that revolved around the evaluation of the construction market and identified needs for digitalisation and enhanced skills to achieve 2030 energy efficiency goals, from the experience of several EU funded projects: BUSGoCircular, BUSLeague, CraftEdu, HP4ALL, INSTRUCT, sEEtheSkills, ARISE, nZEBready, ProHeritage and TRAIN4SUSTAIN.

On 20 September and as part of EUSEW 2022 extended programme and hosted by BUILD UP portal, EPB Center, ECI, BPIE and ECTP brought together key actors to make the invisible visible and debate about the importance of choices made in the national building performance assessment methods and their prerequisite role and high impact in completely decarbonizing in practice the EU’s building stock by 2050, while simultaneously contributing to strengthen EU’s energy security, in a webinar entitled “Making building performance assessment transparent & holistic: ensuring a reliable and level playing field”.

On Monday 11th of July 2022, EuroACE – Energy Efficient Buildings hosted the second event of its EPBD Webinar Series named “Renovating History: how to bring historic buildings into the 21st century”. Watch it here.

How can the Pay-for-Performance (P4P) model contribute to increasing energy efficiency rates and investments in the European Union? Will energy savings be seen as a resource? How will the implementation of energy retrofitting projects positively impact different groups of stakeholders? These and other topics were discussed on this series of Capacity Building Events, which were organised by SENSEI Consortium in these months. The first session took place the 20th June. Watch it here.

Hosted by BUILD UP portal, this webinar focused on energy labelling for existing heating appliances. It featured presentations from the HARP project, explaining the methodology HARP developed and how this can be implemented in the future.
