About the Circular City Actions Framework
The Circular City Actions Framework is a set of five complementary strategies cities can use to start working towards a more circular system. These strategies (the 5Rs: Rethink, Regenerate, Reduce, Reuse, and Recover) address the different roles that local and regional governments play, from public service delivery to cooperation with local stakeholders, asset management, urban planning and regulation.
They can be applied to all production, consumption and waste management processes influenced by the city or its residents. The Actions Framework was developed by ICLEI, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Circle Economy and Metabolic.
Objectives of the webinar series
This webinar series will showcase how the Circular City Actions Framework can be applied to different sectors at the local level through concrete cases from cities of different world regions.
This webinar series is funded by the MAVA Foundation and implemented by ICLEI in collaboration with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
