The European Climate Pact Annual Event 2026, held in Brussels from 23 to 25 March 2026, brings together citizens, local authorities, civil society and EU policymakers to exchange ideas and co‑create climate solutions. The programme features interactive workshops, storytelling sessions and policy dialogues designed to inspire collective action and strengthen collaboration across Europe. As the flagship gathering of the Climate Pact community, the event emphasises how individual and local initiatives can accelerate Europe’s transition towards a greener, more resilient future.
Buildings—responsible for a significant share of Europe’s energy use and emissions—are a central arena for climate action. The event’s focus on community engagement, local leadership and practical solutions creates a strong platform for showcasing renovation initiatives, energy‑efficient building strategies and citizen‑driven improvements to the built environment. By connecting building professionals, municipalities and climate ambassadors, the event supports the uptake of measures aligned with the EU’s climate and energy objectives, including more sustainable homes, public buildings and neighbourhoods.
