Scalable solutions to defossilise the building stock
Scalable solutions to defossilise the building stock
ZEROit accelerates Nuremberg’s energy transition through holistic, replicable pathways for decarbonising municipal buildings. The first Follower Event on 5 March presents project insights, tools, and opportunities for stakeholders to join the free, non‑binding ZEROit Follower Network.
Details of the conference
The ZEROit project is part of the European Urban Initiative programme and aims to solve the energy transition challenges of Nuremberg municipality holistically using highly replicable and scalable solutions:
- Consolidating all data in one portfolio planning tool able to identify and rank buildings
- Rapid scenario modelling for the entire building stock and in-depth analysis of individual buildings
- Removing all carbon from buildings outside and inside of the regular renovation plan
- Set up of framework contracts to reduce the number of tenders and administrative burden
- Citizen engagement and direct support as part of a one-stop shop derived from the city-portfolio tool.
In this first online Follower event, the opportunities of Follower Network members will be explained, and they will be shown insights into the ZEROit solutions and access to testing.
