Details of the conference
The Green Building Summit 2026, organised by the Slovak Green Building Council and the Slovak Chamber of Architects, convenes leading practitioners, policymakers, and innovators to examine how sustainable architecture can drive the transition to better housing and resilient built environments. Held under the auspices of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Slovakia and the President of the Architects’ Council of Europe, the event positions Central Europe as a key hub for forward‑looking design and construction.
Under the theme 'Future Living', the programme presents practical case studies and transferable international experience on designing and delivering buildings that are efficient, affordable, and prepared for long‑term societal and environmental challenges. Two thematic blocks combine expert presentations, panel discussions, and networking, offering participants a clear view of how sustainable architecture and construction can shape the future of housing across Europe.
The language of the conference is English and Slovak, with simultaneous interpretation available.
