Organiser:

This webinar will highlight how Green Deal Call projects are contributing in practical and tangible ways to the implementation of the New European Bauhaus vision. Through a combination of policy perspectives and project experiences from ARV, oPEN Lab and PROBONO, the session will demonstrate how research and innovation actions can translate NEB principles into real‑world solutions across diverse contexts, including neighbourhood renovation, building transformation, living labs, circular approaches, affordable housing and bio‑based construction. By bringing these projects into dialogue with EU policymakers and key stakeholders, the event will illustrate how sustainability, inclusion and architectural quality can be jointly advanced.

Beyond showcasing results, the webinar will facilitate a structured exchange on the challenges of applying the NEB approach on the ground, to identify common barriers, transferable solutions and lessons learned to inform future policy instruments and large‑scale deployment. It will also present insights that the projects will continue to develop at the upcoming New European Bauhaus Festival in June 2026. Although not originally funded under the NEB framework, ARV, oPEN Lab and PROBONO share strong alignment with its core values, promoting neighbourhood‑scale transformation, co‑creation with citizens, and high experiential and aesthetic quality alongside environmental ambition.
