This full‑day learning event in Warsaw will examine how cooperative and community‑led housing models can contribute to more inclusive, accessible, and equitable housing systems in Poland and across Central and Eastern Europe. Facilitated by ICLEI, with support from Habitat for Humanity Poland, IRMiR, and Stowarzyszenie Aglomeracja Konińska, the gathering will convene practitioners, activists, and grassroots initiatives to exchange experiences, identify shared challenges, and develop practical strategies to strengthen community‑led housing. Grounded in local realities rather than general overviews, the programme focuses on Polish initiatives and their interaction with wider regional dynamics, policies, and practices.

The morning roundtables will map the current landscape of community‑led housing, addressing governance, financing, inclusion, accessibility, and gender perspectives. In the afternoon, an Open Space Action Lab will support participants in translating insights into concrete priorities, institutional approaches, and realistic steps for scaling cooperative housing models.

Parts of the programme will take place in Polish, with partial translation provided to ensure accessibility while maintaining meaningful engagement with local stakeholders. Attendance is limited to 100 participants, with registration reviewed to ensure balanced representation and priority for attendees from Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.
