CIRCULAR FOAM project
CIRCULAR FOAM aims at the demonstration of a territorial cross-sectorial systemic solution for the circularity of high performance plastics from diverse applications on the example of rigid polyurethane foams used as insulation in construction.

CRACK-IT project
The EU-funded CRACK-IT project aims to develop numerical crack simulation and identification techniques for stone masonry structures that can be used in professional practice. To achieve this, a crack detection tool will be developed, allowing for the crack documentation of damaged masonry structures. The project's work will also enable the assessment of the seismic safety of these buildings.

FutureBuild project
Futurebuild is about building a better future for the built environment. They provide the stage for inspiring ideas, innovative solutions & knowledge sharing to drive sustainable construction and help them reach their goal of net zero.

DigiChecks project
DigiChecks proposes a digital environment for management of permits and compliance in building and construction.

EQUBUILD project
The EU-funded EQUBUILD project presents novel architectural design strategies for enhancing societal equality in cities: an interdisciplinary case study approach to Swedish public buildings.

I-NERGY project
The EU-funded I-NERGY project will work to evolve, scale up and demonstrate innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a service energy analytics applications and digital twin services. These will be validated along pilots that span over the full energy value chain, ranging from optimised management of grid and non-grid renewable energy systems assets to improved efficiency and reliability of electricity networks’ operation.

FlexSNG project
In the time when energy generation for building user consumption is in the center of european research to avoid energy dependance, the EU-funded FlexSNG project proposes to develop a flexible and cost-effective gasification-based process to generate pipeline-quality biomethane, high-value biochar and renewable heat from low-quality biomass residues and biogenic waste.

BRIGHT project
Today’s energy market is humming to a new beat – one that is electrified with larger renewable energy sources and more opportunities for demand response (DR). The EU-funded BRIGHT project will work to maximise the potential of DR at the consumer level, harnessing the potential of blockchain technology to deliver data-driven cross-stakeholder and cross-domain energy fingerprinting services. Specifically, it will design a co-creation process that lifts individual consumers to centre stage in order to deliver a DR that is multi-layered, community-centred, cross-domain, adaptable and multi-timescale.

AllSteel-SRetrofit project: Siesmic retrofit for old buildings
Old buildings do not meet the new seismic codes, which are more restrictive than in the past. Retrofit is the best solution for existing reinforced-concrete (RC) buildings. The EU-funded AllSteel-SRetrofit project will develop a retrofit scheme that is expected to raise major international scientific and industrial interest.
