Passive House multi family dwelling in Zaragoza
This certified Passive House multi family dwelling in Zaragoza (Spain) has been built taking in particular consideration the occupants´ comfort, such as indoor air quality (IAQ) and acoustics, and ecological aspects, such as aerothermal energy connected to clean renewable electricity and not gas supply. This allows savings in fixed costs, taxes and maintenance.

Efficiency House Plus Research Hall
The City of Feuchtwangen in Bavaria, Germany developed a teaching and research campus for energy-related studies within the Faculty of Applied Engineering Sciences at the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences. The so-called research hall was the first building of the campus to be constructed and has been in use for research and teaching purposes since February 2018. The building offers space for a wide variety of experimental setups, e.g. in the field of innovative heat generation systems. It was built conformant with the Efficiency House Plus standard.

During this session, we were able to know about the learning and progress that this project has made and to know the opinions of the audience about this topic through different polls.

LightCoce project: Building an Ecosystem
LightCoce project aims in offering an open access Ecosystem for upscaling and testing multifunctional lightweight concrete and ceramic materials through 5 upgraded Pilot Lines (PLs) (targeting to Concrete, Conventional and Advanced Ceramics), as well as characterisation facilities, process modelling, quality assurance and monitoring, and standardisation, safety and innovation management services that will be accessible to the interested customers at fair conditions and cost.

DYNASTEE Building Physics Spring School & the European Building Performance Symposium
The DYNASTEE Building Performance Measurement Spring School  will take place over four days (24th -27th of April 2023).  This will be held at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. The training event will be a condensed format of the Summer School that has been organised for more than 10 years and attracted over 200 participants.

Smart-BEEjS project: Local Fight Against Global Climate Change by Building Efficiency
The Smart-BEEjS project promotes the development of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs). PEDs are local developments and networks of homes, workplaces and mobility systems which, together, generate more energy than is consumed. This is achieved through a combination of lower energy usage, the local generation of renewable energy and new business models across the energy marketplaces.
