On 21st September and as part of EUSEW 2022 Extended Programme, BUILD UP hosted the Webinar "Leveraging digitalisation and construction skills towards 2030 energy goals" that revolved around the evaluation of the construction market and identified needs for digitalisation and enhanced skills to achieve 2030 energy efficiency goals, from the experience of several EU funded projects: BUSGoCircular, BUSLeague, CraftEdu, HP4ALL, INSTRUCT, sEEtheSkills, ARISE, nZEBready, ProHeritage and TRAIN4SUSTAIN.
BUILD UP will be present with a physical stand in the 2022 Edition of Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place, one of the most important dates related with energy efficiency financing, that will take place on 18 October in Brussels and has just opened its registration.
The goal of the InnovEM project is the development of a demonstrator for testing the viability of new energy-management systems in a building developed in the smart living lab.
Titled “Making the Renovation Wave a reality: Easy-to-use digital tools for construction SMEs“, this online event ambitions to raise awareness on existing easy-to-use digital tools for the construction sector developed by BIM4Ren and on the skills needed by construction SMEs to effectively implement the Renovation Wave and the EU Green Deal objectives.

On 20 September and as part of EUSEW 2022 extended programme and hosted by BUILD UP portal, EPB Center, ECI, BPIE and ECTP brought together key actors to make the invisible visible and debate about the importance of choices made in the national building performance assessment methods and their prerequisite role and high impact in completely decarbonizing in practice the EU’s building stock by 2050, while simultaneously contributing to strengthen EU’s energy security, in a webinar entitled “Making building performance assessment transparent & holistic: ensuring a reliable and level playing field”.
Hosted by BUILD UP portal, this EUSEW session proposed by ACE-CAE will revolve around the evaluation of the construction market and identified needs for digitalisation and enhanced skills to achieve 2030 energy efficiency goals, from the experience of 9 EU founded projects.
