Renovation of the Institute for Advancement of Education and Upbringing marks the start of a project to renovate 26 central government buildings in Belgrade for energy efficiency.
Led by UNDP, with the Serbian Ministry of Mining and Energy and CEB funding, the initiative aims for completion by 2027, enhancing city aesthetics and cutting energy costs.
Innovations encompass integrated energy monitoring, window sensor-controlled cooling, and LED lighting. These, in addition to reducing bills, will lead to halved CO2 emissions.
