A global alliance of green building organisations, including the U.K.'s Building Research Establishment, the Green Building Council of Australia , the Singapore Green Building Council, the U.S. Green Building Council  and Alliance HQE-GBC France, launched a call to action to bring 75% of underperforming buildings up to modern sustainability standards

The initiative focuses on closing the gap between high-performing buildings and the majority lacking green practices, a critical step toward global decarbonisation

The report outlines recommendations like policy reform, global decarbonisation standards, and increased resilience in finance. It emphasises inclusive investment strategies, ensuring access to capital for all building owners to accelerate sustainable transformations and meet climate goals.
