The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) has opened registration for experts interested in evaluating proposals under the LIFE Clean Energy Transition subprogramme. This initiative, aligned with the European Union’s commitment to energy efficiency and renewable energy, seeks professionals with expertise in key sectors building-related such as:
- Buildings and industrial facilities in the energy transition
- Energy performance of buildings and building retrofits
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning, including heat pumps
- Building Renovation Passports and Energy Performance Certificates
- One-Stop Shops and Integrated Home Renovation Services
- Capacity building programmes in the energy sector
- Efficient heat and cold production
Selected experts will participate in multidisciplinary evaluation panels, helping to ensure the quality and impact of projects funded by the European Commission.
The call places particular emphasis on sectoral and gender diversity, encouraging applications from women and representatives of civil society organisations, energy cooperatives, public administrations, and research centres. Required profiles range from engineers and economists to specialists in social sciences applied to the energy transition.
This action reinforces the collaborative and technical approach of the LIFE programme, consolidating its role as a catalyst for innovative solutions to meet the EU’s climate targets for 2030.
