In a broader action to contrast climate change, a substantial amount of funding will support transitioning low-and middle-income households from fossil fuels to electric heat pumps which offer year-round comfort while cutting reliance on fossil fuels. 

These efforts aim to reduce emissions, lower energy costs, and create jobs.
