Croatia finds itself in a big challenge to find thousands of skilled workers to reach energy efficiency goals by 2030 in buildings. These EU targets could be achieved by scaling up energy renovation of the existing building stock and the construction of new nZEB buildings. For this, skilled workers are needed.
In particular, the Green Building Council estimates that to meet the 2030 goals, 24,500 qualified workers and 5,800 architects and construction, mechanical, and electrical engineers are needed.
