Within the RECONMATIC project, the goal is the development of an assessment tool for circular and sustainable construction.
Editorial Team
RECONMATIC, in collaboration with Circular B COST Action project, focuses on synergistic activities, particularly assessing circularity in construction projects. Beyond circularity, RECONMATIC evaluates sustainability across social, environmental, and economic dimensions, aiming to prevent burden shifting. Partners overlap with Circular B, especially in defining circular Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for residential structures.
RECONMATIC's extensive review yields around 700 indicators, categorised into environmental, economic, social, technical, and management/governance dimensions. Collaboration has been fruitful, aiming for a more sustainable construction sector.
