In response to the challenges posed by global warming, the focus on energy-efficient architecture has intensified. Rising temperatures and extreme weather conditions drive the demand for heating and cooling systems, elevating energy costs. To address this, designers highlight the importance of planning facades to reduce energy consumption.

Polycarbonate panels offer a solution, combining energy efficiency, lightweight construction, and translucent aesthetics. Their multi-layer structure minimises heat transfer, achieving a low U-value of 0.75 W/m²·K in vertical installations. Furthermore, their translucency optimises natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting and showcasing conscientious resource use in design.
