The Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) and RSK Geosciences are collaborating to create a first comprehensive climate guide for the construction sector in UK. 

This guide aims to address climate change impacts and liabilities in land development, ensuring effective adaptation, resilience, and mitigation strategies. 

Supported by several organisations, the guide seeks to enhance project efficiency while balancing sustainability. 

Joanne Kwan from CIRIA emphasises the urgent need to address climate-related risks, especially with increasing extreme weather events. 

The initiative will provide essential frameworks for stakeholders to understand and manage geo-related risks in alignment with government policies and guidance.
