Editorial Team

HybridTec has inaugurated the first green academy in Liverpool City Region, investing £1 million to upskill tradespeople in sustainable technologies. This inauguration is in line with the goal of reducing carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2050.

The green academy, located in a refurbished floor at HybridTec's headquarters, will train 140 apprentices and over 1,000 experienced heating engineers in green technologies such as air source and ground source heat pumps, solar thermal hot water, and underfloor heating. The facility aims to prepare a future workforce aligned with the net zero agenda and meet the demand for skilled workers in the green economy.
