The construction and demolition sectors generate a massive amount of waste. With landfills nearing capacity and global construction increasing, sustainable waste management is crucial.

Mycocycle, a US biotech startup, proposes a solution using specially trained mushrooms to consume construction waste.

Their patent-pending process detoxifies materials, making them suitable for reuse in products like insulation and flooring.

Mycocycle aims to treat 1.5 million tons of waste yearly.
