Hotel Indalo Park, a family-run establishment in Spain, has adopted a state-of-the-art Energy Management System (EMS) to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency. The system, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Tourism with support from EU Next Generation funds, enables real-time energy optimisation across key systems such as HVAC, hot water, and refrigeration.

This initiative is expected to cut the hotel’s energy consumption by 30%, saving nearly 248,000 kWh annually and reducing CO₂ emissions by over 66 tonnes. Financially, it translates to an estimated yearly saving of €37,904. The move aligns with the hotel’s long-standing environmental values and reflects its commitment to innovation and responsible tourism.
