The Powerskin+ coordinator Jorge Corker explained the project developments to experts from the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) (Richard Harding and Claire Nauwelaers) and a delegation from the Regional Coordination and Development Committee of the Portuguese Centro region (CCDRC).

Their visit to IPN was included as part of the regional work of CCDRC towards green transition and support from transformative innovation. The Portuguese CENTRO region was selected as a case study due to the central role that sustainable development has in the Regional Strategy for Smart Specialisation (the Centre's RIS3).
