With the global rising temperatures, there is the need to find sustainable, low-carbon cooling solutions to keep temperature down inside buildings. In particular, commercial buildings are more in need of these solutions as the demand is higher, and greenhouses.

The climate tech spinout company Albotherm has developed a reversible coating for glass surfaces, using polymer chemistry which can become opaque or trasparent, hence providing sunlight with lower temperatures, and shading with higher temperatures.
